Diapason ("the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App uses, how it is used, and what is (and is not) stored or shared.
1. Microphone Access
Diapason uses your device microphone only to capture voice/audio input for real-time voice processing.
- Audio is processed in real time on the device/in memory.
- Audio is not stored by the App.
- Audio is not uploaded to servers.
- Audio is not shared with third parties.
2. Data Collection and Storage
Diapason does not persist your voice recordings or processed audio data.
The App does not collect or store personal audio content for playback, profiling, or sharing.
3. Analytics and Crash Reporting
Diapason uses Firebase services to help monitor app quality and improve performance:
- Firebase Crashlytics – used to detect crashes and diagnose bugs.
- Firebase Analytics – used to understand app usage patterns and improve the app experience.
These services may collect technical and diagnostic information such as:
- App version
- Device model / OS version
- Crash logs and stack traces
- General app interaction events (analytics)
This information is used only to maintain, fix, and improve Diapason. Diapason does not use Firebase services to collect or store your voice recordings.
4. Data Sharing
Diapason does not sell your personal data.
Voice/audio input used for real-time processing is not shared with any third party. Diagnostic and analytics data may be processed by Google Firebase according to Firebase/Google policies.
5. Permissions
Diapason requests microphone permission solely for the core functionality of real-time voice/audio processing. If microphone permission is denied, some or all audio processing features may not function.
6. Children’s Privacy
Diapason is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. The App does not store or transmit voice recordings through its own servers.
7. Security
Diapason is designed to process voice/audio in memory and avoid persistence of audio content. While no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, the App minimizes risk by not storing or transmitting microphone audio for its core processing.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the App, legal requirements, or service providers. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
